The human society is primarily composed of fools and liars. Why doesn't the world like to hear the truth? Because once you speak the truth, fools will think you're an idiot and want to argue with you, to measure who's right. Liars, on the other hand, think that you've ruined their good plans. The lie they've carefully woven is easily exposed by your few casual words, and now you will face potential attacks and threats from them.
The essence of human society is still governed by the law of the jungle. So far, our understanding of ourselves is still based on Darwin's theory of evolution. Thus, as a species, humans still cannot escape their animal nature. Survival of the fittest applies not only to nature but also to human society. I used to strongly dislike Social Darwinism, but later I realized that Social Darwinism is the truth of society, and those who oppose it are the real liars. They will tell you that society is warm, and the biggest difference between humans and animals is that humans have humanity, and so on. Then, when you believe them without a doubt, they will use their understanding of society to climb to a higher parasitic class and exploit you. At that point, you will finally realize. So, to expand further, when your power is not strong enough, you can express your opinion, but don't expect it to be valued. Only when you have enough power to change the world will you have the right to sit at the negotiation table with your opponents, making them value your opinion.
There are only two kinds of people in human society: producers and consumers. We are almost always both producers and consumers at the same time, with different ratios for each person. But what I want to say is, the earlier you realize the truth of this society, the sooner you can become a producer, positioned higher up on the food chain. Because exploitation is everywhere, even in the ideal communist society, labor cannot be distributed fairly. This is because everyone, due to their physical environment, has different perspectives on things. Thus, there is no absolute equality, which means that exploitation is everywhere. What we can do is only run faster than our peers. The essence of society, in the end, is that a group of people willing to hustle and take action manage a group of people who are lazy in thought and action.
The essence of human society is fundamentally one of "man eating man." In times of peace, this truth can be obscured through various means, making it appear less brutal and maintaining a superficial sense of stability. However, when society falls into turmoil, this cannibalistic nature can become literal. For instance, during China's three-year famine, millions of people starved to death, and many resorted to exchanging and eating children. During the American westward expansion, there were also cases of cannibalism due to food shortages. The ugliness of human society lies in the cruel choices it forces upon people: if you refuse to eat others, you risk being eaten yourself. As U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken once put it, "If you're not at the table, you're on the menu." From the perspective of original sin, every person is inherently guilty. A society that claims to be "people-centered" ultimately means that all interests revolve around human needs, and that all other animals must be sacrificed for the sake of mankind. If you consider yourself a “good person,” it might take you a long time to come to terms with this view. The reason few people speak this truth is because of the dynamic between fools and liars: the elite are largely liars, who treat the understanding of this truth as a form of inherited knowledge, using it to manipulate the fools into laboring and maintaining social stability. The so-called development of human society is nothing more than nature’s way of filtering out those who are better at "devouring" others to continue reproducing. As for the fools, due to the existence of the prisoner's dilemma, they are generally content to accept all this—as long as the living conditions aren’t too extremely harsh. What’s even more absurd is that the con artists, while feasting on others, go out of their way to stage laughable shows like “Touching China”, telling the fools: “See? We’re not eating anyone.” But after lying around and feeding off others for too long, these scammers inevitably grow arrogant and decadent—like that Zhou kid in Jiangxi, the Arctic catfish, or Huang Yangdiantian. These types are the kind who not only gorge themselves on others but even complain that their prey is too thin or the meat too tough. This is the law of nature—things always reverse when taken to the extreme. Every trend eventually moves in the opposite direction of where it started. For ordinary people, the only real option is to try their best to become one of the devourers in the next round when the great “Minsky Moment” reset arrives. That’s why the squid game never ends.
I will stop here for now; the rest will be added later.
